Christian Pulisic transfer latest: Chelsea the only club to make firm offer for Borussia Dortmund star, says Raphael Honigstein
Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic is on his way to Chelsea in the summer, according to German football expert Raphael Honigstein.Pulisic, 20, has been linked with a move to the Premier League but reports over the weekend suggested that the USA international was going to join Liverpool.2

Pulisic has played 90 minutes in just three Bundesliga games this season

But ESPN and Der Spiegel journalist Honigstein claimed that the Blues are the only club to have made a firm offer for the attacking midfielder.Speaking on Sky Sports, Honigstein said:“My understanding is that Chelsea are the only team that have made a firm offer at the moment.“Dortmund are looking to see if there are other offers coming in as you would, but it is kind of agreed that the player will move in the summer definitely because he still has a year to run on his contract. “Unless someone matches Chelsea’s offer or exceeds it, he’ll go there.“There was some interest from Manchester United, I understand, but they’ve gone a little bit quiet now because they’ve got other stuff to deal with. They don’t know if whoever the next guy is will want to pay that amount of money on Christian Pulisic.”Although Pulisic is regarded as one of the most promising youngsters in European football, his first-team action at Dortmund has been limited this season due to the stunning rise of England international former Manchester City man Jadon Sancho.And the thought of Pulisic moving to Stamford Bridge could be strengthened by stories of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich chasing Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.2
