Steve Clarke has responded to the group of Rangers fans who held up a banner directed at him during the Gers’ defeat of Hamilton on Sunday.Clarke, the Kilmarnock manager, was a target of abuse when his side played Rangers last Wednesday, with chants of ‘Fenian b******’ coming from the stands.

I’m not sick.” Kris Boyd, the former Rangers striker who now represents Clarke’s side, was subjected to sectarian abuse while playing against Celtic days before Clarke was targeted by Rangers’ supporters, while a coin was also thrown at the forward in the same match.Steven Gerrard, the Rangers manager, spoke after Sunday’s defeat of Hamilton and called for abuse to be kicked out the game.He said: “For me, at the risk of repeating myself, we don’t want to hear that or see anything.“I was quite clear in my press conference last week. There’s no place for it. We want it to stop.”
